H3C无线控制器WX5510E、WX5540E及LSUM1WCME0、EWPXM1WCME0插卡支持Comware V5和Comware V7操作系统，可以直接在设备上进行软件升级，将Comware V5操作系统升级为Comware V7操作系统。本手册以WX5540E为例介绍Comware V5操作系统到Comware V7操作系统的升级操作。
Comware V5版本升级到Comware V7需要升级BootWare，因此升级时要使用本地登录，即需要通过串口线连接设备上的Console口。
Comware V5的软件包只有一个“.bin”文件，但是Comware V7的软件包包括两个“.bin”文件和一个“.ipe”文件：
· Boot程序（.bin文件）：包含了Linux操作系统的内核，可以提供进程管理、内存管理、文件系统管理和应急shell。格式为“XXXX-cmw710-boot-XXXXX.bin”，例如：wx5540e-cmw710-boot-a5101p02.bin。
· System程序（.bin文件）：包含了设备操作和网络业务相关的模块，包括设备管理、接口管理、配置管理和路由。格式为“XXXX-cmw710-system-XXXXX.bin”，例如：wx5540e-cmw710-system-a5101p02.bin。
· IPE文件：Comware V7的软件包在实际发布的时候，会把boot程序和system程序文件打包成一个IPE文件。格式为“XXXX.ipe”，例如：wx5540e.ipe。
Comware V5/V7的BootWare文件也随着软件包一起发布，用户可以到H3C网站（http://www.h3c.com/cn/）获取设备对应的软件版本及BootWare文件。
· Comware V7部分特性相比Comware V5更新了命令行，因此Comware V5的配置文件不能直接在Comware V7中使用，在升级之前可以手动将Comware V5的配置文件刷新成Comware V7的配置文件。
· Comware V7只能注册Comware V7的AP，不支持注册仅支持Comware V5的AP，可以在目标Comware V7版本说明书中进行确认。
· Comware V5版本升级到Comware V7需要重启设备，在重启过程完成前，设备的各项业务功能将不可用。
· 升级期间确保设备供电正常，待升级的Comware V7 BootWare文件和软件版本与设备机型正确匹配。
· 使用不同的Comware V5和Comware V7软件版本进行升级操作时显示信息会略有不同，请以实际情况为准。
在Comware V5版本升级到Comware V7前，请完成如下准备工作：
(1) 使用以太网线缆连接PC与设备侧的管理接口，并配置设备与文件服务器路由可达。
(2) 开启文件服务器的TFTP/FTP Server功能。
(3) 使用配置电缆连接PC与设备侧的Console口，通过配置终端登录到设备的命令行配置界面中。
(4) 将设备的升级启动文件拷贝到文件服务器上，并正确设置TFTP/FTP Server的访问路径。

Comware V5版本升级到Comware V7流程如图2-2所示。
· 升级前请确保已做好升级前的准备工作。
· 当待升级设备由Comware V5升级为Comware V7操作系统时，配置文件将自动清空，请备份当前版本对应的配置文件，等系统升级后根据备份文件重新进行配置。
(1) 将Comware V5上当前运行的配置保存至设备存储介质。

(2) 将配置文件备份到PC（IP地址：192.168.100.14）上。
