1 BootWare管理配置

说明

·     显示信息请以实际情况为准,文中的举例仅做参考。

·     本文中所有操作,建议仅在单主控板环境下执行。操作前,请先将串口线连接该主控板上的Console口,网线连接该主控板上的网管口,通过Console口登录设备后在执行相应操作。

 

1.1  简介

1.1.1  BootWare程序文件

BootWare程序文件是设备启动时用来引导应用程序的文件。完整的BootWare包含BootWare基本段和BootWare扩展段。

·     BootWare基本段是指完成系统基本初始化的BootWare,可以实现修改串口参数、升级BootWare等操作。

·     BootWare扩展段具有丰富的人机交互功能,用于接口的初始化,可以实现升级应用程序和引导系统。BootWare扩展段包括扩展段主菜单和扩展段辅助菜单两部分:主菜单用于升级系统启动文件、文件控制等操作,辅助菜单用于查看、搜索设备内存等操作。

BootWare基本段启动后,可以在基本段菜单下加载升级BootWare扩展段。为了阅读和便于理解,如果不做特殊说明,本文中BootWare扩展段主菜单将称为BootWare主菜单。

1.1.2  应用程序文件

系统缺省定义了两种用于启动的应用程序文件:主程序文件、备份程序文件。当用户在存储介质或文件系统中加载了这两种应用程序文件时,系统将以此顺序依次选择这两种文件来启动设备,直到设备正常启动为止。

主程序文件、备份程序文件的缺省文件名、文件类型及启动时的选择顺序如下:

·     主程序文件,文件类型为M,是系统启动缺省使用的文件;

·     备份程序文件,文件类型为B。当主程序文件启动失败时,系统使用备份程序文件启动;

说明

·     用于启动的应用程序文件,既可以是IPE文件,还可以是BIN文件;当使用BIN文件作为启动的程序文件时,需要Boot软件包和System软件包各一个。关于软件包的详细介绍,请参见“基础配置指导”中的“软件升级”。

·     当应用程序文件未指定文件类型时,则为N/A类型;当指定应用程序文件既为主程序文件,又为备用程序文件时,则为M+B类型。

·     仅有类型为M、B的应用程序可以用于系统启动,其他类型的应用程序不会被用于系统启动。

·     存储的应用程序文件名可以在应用程序启动后通过命令行修改;类型为M、B或N/A的应用程序的文件类型可以在BootWare菜单中修改,也可以在应用程序启动后通过命令修改。

·     M、B类型的文件在每个主控板上同时最多存在一个。如:Flash中有一个boot软件包文件为M+B类型,那么就不可能存在其它的类型为M或者B的boot软件包文件;若另一个boot软件包文件的类型被改为B,那么以前的M+B类型的boot软件包文件就变成M类型的文件了。

 

1.2  进入BootWare基本段菜单

设备上电后,通过串口(Console口)连接设备,在终端显示信息中出现“Press Ctrl+D to access BASIC-BOOTWARE MENU…”的3秒钟之内,键入<Ctrl+D>,系统将进入BootWare基本段;如果未在3秒钟之内键入<Ctrl+D>,系统将直接运行BootWare程序,若此后仍希望进入BootWare基本段,则需要重新启动设备,设备启动过程中再执行相关操作。

1.2.2  修改串口参数

在BootWare基本段菜单项中键入<1>,回车后,可以设置串口(Console口)的波特率。

说明

·     通过BootWare菜单使用Console口加载主机程序时,应注意正确设置PC端串口的波特率、数据位、奇偶校验位、停止位和数据流控制等属性,否则超级终端将无响应。关于PC端串口属性设置的详细介绍,请参见“基础配置指导”中的“登录设备”。

·     单板Console口的默认波特率是9600bps。用户修改了Console口波特率后,到下次重启时,又会重新恢复到默认波特率9600bps。

 

1.2.3  升级BootWare扩展段

在BootWare基本段菜单项中键入<2>,回车后,将仅升级BootWare扩展段。当BootWare扩展段损坏时,可以在基本段执行该操作来升级BootWare扩展段。

网关IP地址。当与服务器不在同一网段时需要配置网关地址。

FTP用户名,传输协议为TFTP时,无此选项

FTP用户密码,传输协议为TFTP时,无此选项

 

(3)     用户根据实际情况,选择相应的程序文件加载方式。当需要加载主用程序文件时,可在网管口子菜单中键入<2>,回车后,即将主用程序文件下载至设备中,终端显示如下信息:

1.3.4  进入文件控制子菜单

在BootWare主菜单中,键入<4>,回车后,系统进入文件控制子菜单。通过这个菜单可以查看存储介质中保存的文件显示类型、修改文件名、删除文件等操作,提示信息如下:

在文件控制子菜单中,查看设备当前存储介质路径下的文件时,最多可以显示998个文件。

 

(2)     在文件控制子菜单中,键入<3>,回车后,系统进入设置文件属性菜单,可以根据需要来选择修改对应文件的属性,比如选择BOOT-test.bin和SYSTEM-test.bin作为下次备用启动文件,设备举例如下。

1.5  通过BootWare主菜单升级系统启动文件配置举例

通过BootWare主菜单升级系统启动文件,主要有以下三种方式:

·     通过串口采用Xmodem协议完成BootWare以及应用程序的升级

·     通过网管口从TFTP服务器完成应用程序的升级

·     通过网管口从FTP服务器完成应用程序的升级

1.5.1  通过串口采用Xmodem协议完成BootWare以及应用程序的升级

·     Xmodem协议简介

XModem协议是一种文件传输协议,因其简单性和较好的性能而被广泛应用。XModem协议通过串口传输文件,支持128字节和1K字节两种类型的数据包,并且支持一般校验和、CRC两种校验方式,在出现数据包错误的情况下支持多次重传(一般为10次)。

XModem协议传输由接收程序和发送程序共同完成。先由接收程序发送协商字符,协商校验方式,协商通过之后发送程序就开始发送数据包,接收程序接收到完整的一个数据包之后按照协商的方式对数据包进行校验。校验通过之后发送确认字符,然后发送程序继续发送下一包;如果校验失败,则发送否认字符,发送程序重传此数据包。

·     Xmodem应用

(1)     在Bootware主菜单中,键入<2>,回车后,系统进入串口子菜单:

说明

·     终端的波特率更改后,要做一次终端仿真程序的断开和连接操作,新的设置才能起作用。

·     如果是Win98操作系统,可以先设置完波特率后断开,再连接;如果是Win2000系统,则必须先断开才能设置参数,设置完以后再连接。

 

(5)     根据实际情况,用户选择升级选项,如上所示键入<2>,即将主用应用程序下载至设备,回车后,终端显示如下信息:

(6)     此时,从终端窗口选择[传送/发送文件],在弹出的对话框(如下图)中点击[浏览]按扭,选择需要下载的软件,并将下载使用的协议改为XModem本处以下载main.bin文件举例)。

(7)     选择完成后,点击[发送]按钮,系统弹出如下图所示的界面。

(8)     程序成功下载后,此时,系统将再次进入串口子菜单,用户根据自己的实际需要进行其他选择,此处不再赘述。在BootWare主菜单,执行重启操作,设备将以新加载的主用应用程序启动,完成应用程序的升级。

1.5.2  通过网管口从TFTP服务器完成应用程序的升级

·     TFTP介绍

TFTP(Trivial File Transfer Protocol,简单文件传输协议)协议适用于客户机和服务器之间不需要复杂交互的环境。

TFTP协议传输由客户端发起,当需要下载文件时,客户端向TFTP服务器发送读请求包,然后从服务器接收数据包,并向服务器发送确认信息;当需要上传文件时,由客户端向TFTP服务器发送写请求包,然后向服务器发送数据包,并接收服务器的确认信息。TFTP传输文件有两种模式:一种是二进制模式,用于传输程序文件;另一种是ASCII码模式,用于传输文本文件。

下面升级描述以设备作为TFTP客户端(Client)为例。

·     TFTP升级步骤

(1)     将设备通过网络管理口与下载文件所在PC相连(需要知道该PC的IP地址),同时设备通过配置口外接一台PC(此PC与下载文件所在PC可以是同一台)。

(2)     在与网络管理口相连的PC上运行TFTP Server程序,并指定升级程序的文件路径。

(3)     在与配置口相连的PC上运行终端仿真程序,启动设备,进入BootWare主菜单。

(4)     在BootWare主菜单中,键入<3>,回车后,系统进入网管口子菜单:

1.5.3  通过网管口从FTP服务器完成应用程序的升级

·     FTP介绍

通过网管口,设备还可通过FTP(File Transfer Protocol,文件传输协议)来完成软件升级。

下面升级描述以设备作为FTP客户端(Client)为例。

·     FTP升级步骤

(1)     将设备通过网络管理口与下载文件所在PC相连(需要知道该PC的IP地址),同时设备通过配置口外接一台PC(此PC与下载文件所在PC可以是同一台)。

(2)     在与网络管理口相连的PC上运行FTP Server程序,并指定升级程序的文件路径,完成登录用户名、用户口令的设置。

(3)     在与配置口相连的PC上运行终端仿真程序,启动设备,进入BootWare主菜单。

(4)     请参考TFTP升级步骤中对应的描述,此处不再赘述。
