Perform this task to synchronize users between Space Console and an Intelligence Management Center (iMC) server, such as local users and LDAP users. After the user synchronization, an iNode intelligent client is started on a desktop and logged in automatically when a user logs in to a Workspace client to access the desktop.
From the left navigation pane, select Users > Auth Collaboration > Account Collaboration > iMC Server.
Click the icon next to Server Info, and configure iMC server parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click Save.
Click More in the top right corner, and then perform one of the following tasks as required:
Click Asset Registration. In the dialog box that opens, configure the asset number prefix for the iNode client and enable automatic asset registration, and click OK.
To avoid asset number duplication during bulk cloud desktop deployment, disable Auto Asset Registration when you create desktop images. |
Click App Store Configuration to access the iMC Server App Store page.
Click Monitor & Auditing Configuration to access the iMC Server Monitor & Auditing page.
Server Address: Enter the IP address of the iMC server.
Login Mode: Select a protocol for establishing connections between Space Console and the iMC server. Options include HTTP and HTTPS.
Server Port: Specify the port number used to access the iMC server. If the login mode is HTTP, the default port number is 8080. If the login mode is HTTPS, the default port number is 8443.
Username: Specify the user account that has management privileges to the iMC server.
Password: Specify the password of the user account for accessing the iMC server.
User Sync: Configure whether to enable user synchronization between the iMC server and Space Console.
Synchronization from Space Console to iMC server: Enable automatic user synchronization to the iMC server. With this feature enabled, the system will automatically synchronize user information updates on Space Console to the iMC server. To perform manual user synchronization, click Synchronize users on Space Console to an iMC server in the top right corner.
Synchronization from iMC server to Space Console: Enable automatic user synchronization to Space Console. With this feature enabled, the system will automatically synchronize iMC user information to Space Console at 3:30 daily. To perform manual user synchronization, click Synchronize users on an iMC server to Space Console in the top right corner.
Perform this task to clear iMC settings on Space Console. Configuring initialization settings might cause disconnection from the iMC server. This task will not delete synchronized users, but stop the synchronization task, which prevents you from configuring related policies.
To configure initialization settings:
From the left navigation pane, select Users > Auth Collaboration > Account Collaboration > iMC Server.
Click Initialization Settings, enter the administrator password, and click Fully understand the result of this operation.
