Create a firewall

Procedure

1. On UIS Cloud, click Cloud Services on the top navigation bar. On the UIS-Sec portal of UIS Manager Standard Edition, click Network Services on the top navigation bar.

2. From the left navigation pane, select Network & Security > Firewalls.

3. Click the Firewalls tab, and then click Create.

4. Configure the firewall parameters as described in "Parameters."

5. Click Create.

Parameters

• Name: Specify a name for the firewall.

• Description: Specify a description for the firewall.

• Rule Set: Select a rule set. If you select Auto Create, the system will create a rule set that has the same name as the firewall.

• Router: Select a router to attach to the firewall resource. If you do not select a router, the firewall will be in Inactive state after being created.
