On May 23 2018, the officials from the "Seminar on Development for Developing Countries" of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) of Peking University visited the Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition Hall of the Tsinghua Unigroup and the Innovation Experience Center of H3C Group under the Tsinghua Unigroup for observation and exchange activities. The members of the seminar mainly come from government agencies of nine developing countries. During the activities, the development history of the H3C Group and the latest achievements in technological innovation were highlighted, leaving a deep impression on the visitors.
The H3C Group has achieved remarkable results with its efforts in the “Belt & Road” business in 2018. It has won overseas data center construction projects for industry-leading Internet and cloud service companies. Meanwhile, it has contracted to build the network for Nigerian airports, Gwadar Port in Pakistan, and other key overseas infrastructure projects. All these services of H3C are highly recognized by its end customers and partners.
Mr. Gao Jianwei, executive deputy head of the H3C“Belt & Road” working group, says that in the future, H3C will implement more projects in countries in Africa, South America and Southeast Asia, among which projects in Angola, Egypt and Brunei have already entered the contract signing phase. He maintains that H3C will play a more important role in carrying out the “South-South Cooperation” and “Belt & Road” projects.

Mr. Zhang Junjie, the head of Enrollment and Student Management Department of ISSCAD, says that he is very pleased to see the great achievements of Tsinghua Unigroup in the chip field, as well as the leading technologies of H3C in such areas as network, technology, storage, cloud computing, big data and macro security. He also points out that participants in this seminar are from different developing countries that are in great need of advanced information infrastructure construction and development. He hopes that ISSCAD of Peking University can serve as a bridge for Chinese companies to go global.
Zhu Feng, an official from the training center of the Ministry of Commerce, is also invited to attend the seminar's observation and exchange activities. Such activities have achieved a complete success.
